Description
This seminar presents a one-minute QC planning process that can be used
to select control rules and numbers of control measurements that are appropriate
for the quality required by a test and the imprecision and inaccuracy observed
for a method. It describes how to use the OPSpecs chart as a QC planning
tool and illustrates manual applications via a pre-printed set of charts
and automatic applications via computer technology (QC Validator program).
Training to support QC planning is available on the world wide web and
an example web-training program can be accessed to provide additional materials
for this seminar and more extensive instruction in QC planning (at the
address http://www.westgard.com/aaccmich.htm).
