NOTE: QC Validator 2.0 is no longer available to the public. The currently supported version of QC Design technology is EZ Rules 3. However, for legacy customers, we maintain access to these demos and tutorials. Please remember that these programs are over ten years OLD. They were designed for monitors with 256 colors (remember them?). For those of you with monitors that display a higher number of colors (these days, that means everyone), you may experience strange coloring of the demos. If you do experience this, temporarily reduce the number of colors displayed on your monitor and view the demos.

VALIDATOR® 2.0 DEMO

Basic Information on the Demo

The Validator 2.0 Demo gives a brief tour of all the unique graphic tools of QC Validator version 2.0: power function graphs, critical-error graphs, OPSpecs charts, and demonstrates the entry of parameters as well as the most important new feature, Automatic QC Selection.

This demo is designed for PC's running Windows 3.1 or Windows 95.

Basic Information on Downloading

Click on the appropriate icon below if you want to try one of the WQC demos. It should download the wqcdemo.exe file, a compressed file containing all the files you need to run a short demonstration of our QC Validator program.

You will be asked to designate a location on your computer's hard disk where the *.exe file will be stored. Once you have designated a file directory or drive, it will take some time for the file to download.

After the file is downloaded, use your file manager and click on the *.exe file. It will then ask you if you want to extract the *.exe file; this expands the files so that you can run them on your computer, so click "Ok". Once extracted, the files should create a new program group on your computer - c:\westgard - into which the demo files will be placed. Once that is done, click on the icon of the new program group and the demonstration will begin.

WARNING! These demos and tutorials are designed for monitors with 256 colors. For those of you with monitors that display a higher number of colors, you may experience strange coloring of the demos. If you do experience this, temporarily reduce the number of colors displayed on your monitor and view the demos.
***YOU MAY HAVE TO REDUCE YOUR COLOR DISPLAY TO AS FEW AS 16 COLORS.***

Please let us know what you think about the demo. In the future, we will include more of the tutorial demo files on this site for downloading.
