There are no illogical or unknown control rules here. EZ Runs^tm gives you the most advanced QC design support so you can select the "Westgard Rules" that are best for your test.

And complete flexibility in setting control limits. EZ Runs^tm allows you to enter means and SDs from labeled values, or assign your own. Once you've collected enough control data, EZ Runs^tm can calculate the means and SDs for you, using data from fixed intervals, moving intervals, or cumulative-to-date. You have total control over the mean and SD that are used to calculate control limits.
