Online or Face-to-Face, In-house or in public

Since its inception in 1992, Westgard QC has trained thousands of healthcare professionals in QC, QA, method validation, and other critical laboratory skills. Our workshops, training and mentoring are designed to provide appropriate levels of learning to our target audience. While our public workshops provide a high level overview of a given topic and are targeted to a general audience, our consulting services are designed to work closely with a development team and is typically specific to a given project/application. We can also customize our training material based entirely on your needs and requests.

Dr. Westgard has given thousands of public presentations on hundreds of topics. Presentations can be as simple and straightforward as PowerPoint slideshows, or can be as complicated and interactive as question-and-answer, problem-solving while learning and using software.

The following types of workshops are available:

  • Public - open to all.
  • Sponsored Public - open to the public, with preference give to sponsors clients, staff, etc.
  • In-house - closed to the public, with topics and materials entirely customized to the client

Attending a public workshop is how many people make their first acquaintance with Westgard QC and the tools and technology of advanced Quality Control. If a few of your staff want to learn the latest in QC, sending them to a Westgard workshop is sure to produce results.

Sponsoring a public workshop is an easy, inexpensive way for companies to demonstrate their commitment to quality. Invite your clients and you provide them with a service as well - they learn that you value quality, that you value your customer, and that the service you provide is a quality one.

Having an in-house workshop is ideal for companies who need quick, focused results on a project. If you're working on a deadline and need training for your staff right now, an in-house workshop allows you to specify the topic for training, In-house workshops are also great for institutions that need immediate improvements in their QC practices. When multiple staff wish to take an online course, the most cost-effective method is a site license. Typically, you can save more than 50% off the regular rates when you have 10 or more staff interested in taking the same online course.
