Bobble James at Ballarat Laboratory

Posted by Sten Westgard, MS

We just had a "Bobble James" sighting reported at the Ballarat Laboratory in Melbourne, Australia.

"The day that the parcel arrived, another of our regional laboratories was undergoing its NATA (external) accreditation review. My photo was quite the talking point among the assessors when it arrived by email, and (I believe) impressed them so much, that the laboratory had zero findings reported by them!"

Now, we certainly can't take credit for any inspection success. Bobble James may be a good luck charm, but laboratories still need to do hard work and value quality. Now, if labs that value quality happen to both seek out Bobble James and pass inspections at a higher rate, well that's an interesting correlation...

Special thanks to Corrin Bryce for sending in the picture.
